Brian was born on January 06, 1949 in Bolton to Edith and Ernest Simm - the eldest of 3 - he has a brother Bernard and a sister Christine. Brian spent his childhood in Astley Bridge, Little Lever and Tonge Moor. 1960 Brian started at Castle Hill Secondary School 1965 Brian left Castle Hill and started work at Dobson and Barlows Engineering as a sheet metal worker. 1967 Brian met Sharon and on 24 February 1973 they married at St Pauls Church, Astley Bridge. 1975 Daniel Christian was born on 19th May 1979 Paul Andrew was born 3rd August 1986 After being made redundant he became a transparent wall maintenance technician (window cleaner) and continued until he was forced to retire due to his diagnosis from this terrible disease in 2006. During this time he was also a swimming teacher which he thoroughly enjoyed. Brian, Sharon and the boys spent many happy holidays in Wales, the Lake District and Scotland. 2010 Paul and Camille were married on the 24th July - this was a very special day to all the family but especially to Brian. 2006 - 2011 Brian fought his illness with such bravery, strength and determination, remaining positive throughout, his sense of humour never faltered. Brian died aged 62 on 28th March 2011.
